Spanish violin
mary st michael
He began practicing the violin at the age of three and since thenSince then, he maintains a great passion for the instrument and a true vocation for music. He continued his classical training at the Professional Conservatory of Music of Valladolid, Superior Conservatory of Castilla y León, finishing his studies at the Musichochschule of Detmold (Germany) and Superior Conservatory of Oviedo. His interest in completing his musical training has led him to belong to and collaborate with groups of different styles of music (Edu Soto Plan Renove Band, Mariachi Guerrilla, etc.). However, his predilection for the music of other cultures and his origins led him to Scottish folk music and aroused his curiosity for the interpretation of Castilian folk music on the violin. At the same time, his passion for children's musical teaching and pedagogy and his training with the musician and educator Paulo Lameiro, has allowed him to make use of all these musical styles and adapt them for the little ones, thus giving music workshops for babies at the Miguel Delibes Auditorium of Valladolid. Since then he has made his classical training compatible without neglecting his training in traditional music, having received classes from figures such as Alasdair Fraser, Natalie Haas, Diego Galaz, Begoña Riobó or Cassey Driessen among others.

Cris Zagaleja
