Maria San Miguel
María began practicing the violin at the age of three and since then, she has maintained a great passion for the instrument and a true vocation for music. She continued her classical training at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Valladolid, Conservatorio Superior de Castilla y León, finishing her studies at the Musichochschule in Detmold (Germany) and Conservatorio Superior de Oviedo. His interest in completing his musical training has led him to belong and collaborate with groups of various styles of music (Edu Soto Plan Renove Band, Mariachi Guerrilla, etc.). However, his predilection for the music of other cultures and their origin, led him to Scottish folk music and awakened his curiosity for the interpretation of Castilian folk music on the violin. At the same time, his passion for teaching and musical pedagogy for children and his training with the musician and pedagogue Paulo Lameiro, has allowed him to make use of all these musical styles and adapt them for the little ones, giving music workshops for babies in the Miguel Delibes Auditorium in Valladolid. Since then she has combined her classical training without leaving aside her training in traditional music, having received classes from figures such as Alasdair Fraser, Natalie Haas, Diego Galaz, Begoña Riobó or Cassey Driessen among others.

Neo-traditional violin
Blanca Altable
Blanca-Olalla Altable (Burgos, 1984) is an outstanding violinist in the traditional and neo-traditional Castilian scene. Her style, within the popular violin, is characterized by being rhythmic, eloquent, passionate and emotional, which has allowed her to develop her own distinctive sound: intimate, deep, joyful and subtle.
He stands out thanks to his particular and creative vision, rescuing the dulzaina repertoire of his grandfather, Simón Altable, and adapting it to the violin, composing original pieces under traditional and non-traditional rhythms, and deconstructing folklore. In addition, his curiosity and musical eclecticism have led him to develop a more experimental vision accompanied by new technologies (effect pedals, loop stations, midi controllers) that provide him with a new compositional aesthetic: an epic minimalism, an experimental minimaximalist folk and a discourse where improvisation is synonymous with surrender.
